10 Days Northern Uganda adventure, cultural and wildlife Safari

    On this trip we shall explore the northern part of Uganda which is so different from the western, central, and southern parts of the country. The trip will indulge us into the unique cultures, landscapes and wildlife of most of Africa. We shall have fun activities which include rafting and hiking, cultural experiences with the Karamajong that live more less like the Masai of Kenya, wildlife safaris and boat trips that will lead us the pretty African wildlife such as lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, buffalos, antelopes and over 600 different bird species.

  • Day 1

    Transfer to Jinja

     On this day our representative will pick you from either your hotel or airport and drive to Jinja which is the adventure capital of east Africa with lots of fun and adventure activities such as white water rafting, bungee jumping, kayaking, quad biking, bike riding, horse rides, swimming, and boat trips among others. Depending on the time we arrive you can decide to boom any optional activity with the hotel or relax as we shall have some really busy days ahead of us.

  • Day 2

    Explore Jinja    

    Today will be a main adventure day where you will take on a challenge by encountering the rapids on the White Nile in an all exclusive rafting experience that will keep you hyped for the next adventures. You will decide either to do a half day 4 rapid encounter raft or a full day 8 rapid epic encounter. The White Nile rafting experience is really and a must do activity if you’re an adventurous, wild and free soul that loves taking on challenges

  • Day 3

    Transfer to Sipi Falls

    Early morning relaxation in Jinja and mid-morning transfer to the beautiful Sipi falls with a lunch break en-route in Mbale town which is one of the old colonial towns found around the foothills of Mount Elgon. We shall then embark on a scenic drive to the amazing Sipi falls with awesome views and sunset’s en-route to our accommodation.

  • Day 4

    Explore the Sipi Falls and transfer to Moroto

    After breakfast we shall go for a hike around 3 of the various waterfalls around the Karamoja regions that will give you an adventure of a lifetime. On this hike expect to have a lot of scenic views and cold refreshing showers as we hike up and down the mountain edges. The guides will tell you more about the culture of the people living around and also participate in the local coffee processing experience

    Have lunch and embark on a scenic drive through the Karamoja region to Moroto for overnight.

  • Day 5

    Explore the life of the Karamajong and transfer to Kidepo Valley national park

    The Karamajong have a really unique culture and it will be so impressive of you to visit and learn about their day to day hustle to survive. They are basically nomads and survive on cattle keeping and small scale subsistence farming to supplement their daily food chain. We shall visit a family in the village and a local craft maker that will help us experience the life of the people around this area of the country by teaching us how to make wood stools, beads, baskets, mats, etc.

    We shall then have lunch and continue to the hidden paradise far north east of the country. Depending on what time we check in, we may do an evening safari to spot some of the beautiful wildlife that roams the savanna such as elephants, buffalos, giraffes, zebras, antelopes, leopards, cheetahs, lions, ostriches, etc.

  • Day 6

    Explore the Kidepo Valley national park

    After an early morning breakfast, embark on a morning game drive around the Kidepo and Narus valleys where a variety of animals and birds can be seen moving around like the fast running Ostrich. Have an afternoon Game Drive that will take you through to see herds of buffaloes, elephants, giraffes, zebras and hopefully some lions, leopard and the elusive cheetah. This will also enable you to be in full sight of varieties of birds as well. Stops will be made at any time in order for you to be able to take pictures of fabulous wildlife and birds along the way.

  • Day 7

    Morning safari and transfer to Gulu

    Early morning breakfast and take on our next chances to find the wild cats and other wildlife around Africa’s number one true savanna wilderness. We shall also be able to catch the most amazing sunrises that shines over the Narus valley that will leave you wondering whether to leave or stay behind. After the safari we shall have a lunch break and transfer to Gulu for overnight  

  • Day 8

    Transfer to Murchison Falls national park

    Morning transfer to Murchison falls through the typical grass thatched villages of northern Uganda that will reward you with a lot of stories about the African lifestyle. Check into your hotel for lunch as you prepare for another amazing safari around the northern side of the park to improve our chances of spotting a lot of wildlife and have an epic sunset picnic on the Albert Nile as you catch a cup of homemade Ugandan coffee.

  • Day 9

    Explore the Murchison Falls national park 

    This will be another epic day on the trip highlights as you will wake on a morning safari around the park and have an afternoon launch trip on the Victoria Nile that will reward you with a lot of hippos, buffalos, elephants, crocodiles etc. You will also do a short hike to the top of the world’s strongest waterfall, where water falls through a 45m deep narrow gorge to hit the rocks and flow north that will reward you with amazing views and photo sessions.

  • Day 10

    Transfer to Kampala/Entebbe via Ziwa rhino sanctuary

    As we wrap up the memories of the amazing adventure we shall visit the Ziwa rhino sanctuary where we shall have a walk to see the white rhinos that are being protected to be re-introduced in the wilderness. We shall then have lunch en-route and continue to Kampala/ Entebbe
